Dr. Christoph Heinen

Christoph Heinen studied business administration at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. After completing his studies, he worked as a research assistant and lecturer at USW Schloss Gracht.

In 2002, he completed his doctorate at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf. Christoph then worked for five years as Managing Partner at WZLforum GmbH and RWTH International Academy GmbH in Aachen.

He is Managing Partner at MARGA Business Simulations GmbH since 2007.

Career

1994 -2002: After studying business administration at the University of Fribourg/Switzerland, Dr. Christoph Heinen worked at the University Seminar of Economics, USW, Schloss Gracht, (today ESMT, European School of Management and Technology) as a research assistant and lecturer for business management seminars.
1997 to 2002: Dr. Heinen was the main lecturer in the Executive MBA at the University of St. Gallen and subsequently, until 2007, the director of studies in the Executive MBA for Technology Managers at RWTH Aachen University, the University of St. Gallen and the Fraunhofer Technology Academy. Dr. Heinen regularly takes on teaching assignments at various universities.
1998: In 1998, Dr. Heinen took over the management of the business simulation MARGA. At the same time, he completed his doctorate as an external doctoral candidate at the Chair of Business Administration, in particular Controlling, at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf.

2002 – 2007: Dr. Heinen managed the RWTH International Academy GmbH, the continuing education academy of RWTH Aachen University, as well as WZLforum GmbH, the continuing education company of the Machine Tool Laboratory of RWTH Aachen University and the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology.
2007: After five years as a freelance lecturer parallel to his activities at RWTH Aachen University, Dr. Heinen and Mr. Nill founded MARGA Business Simulations GmbH together with ESMT.
