Andreas Nill

Andreas Nill studied computer science and information science.

After completing his studies, he initially worked for four years as a project manager at GMD (Research Center for Information Technology).

In 1999, he began working in the business simulation department of the USW, University Seminar of Economics, Schloss Gracht, and was later Head of eLearning at the ESMT European School of Management and Technology.

Andreas Nill has been Managing Partner of MARGA Business Simulations GmbH since 2007.

Career

Andreas Nill studied computer science and information science at the University of Applied Sciences and the University of Constance and graduated in both courses.
He gained his first professional experience as an intern at Georg Fischer in Schaffhausen (Switzerland) and Hewlett-Packard in Böblingen.
As a freelancer, he took on project responsibility for Hewlett-Packard and the ISC International Management Symposium in St. Gallen.
He worked for four years at the GMD Research Center for Information Technology as project manager of the EU project AVANTI.

In 1999, he began working in the business simulation department of the USW University Seminar of Economics, Schloss Gracht. In 2004, Andreas Nill became “Head of eLearning” at the ESMT European School of Management and Technology.
In 2007, he and Dr. Heinen founded MARGA Business Simulations GmbH together with ESMT.
He has published articles in the field of adaptive systems and user modeling in various international journals, e.g. The New Review of Hypermedia and Multimedia.
