This is leadership culture in action: the CFO of Georg Fischer Ltd regularly takes time to train the industrial corporation’s managers together with his team. The focus is on the financial impact of operational management decisions. The one-week Financial Management Training (FMT) is an obligatory part of the Corporation’s standard management development process.

The training covers all management-related topics:

  • Annual financial statements and analysis,
  • strategic and operational controlling,
  • the Group’s own value management system,
  • investment and cost controlling,
  • tax and risk management,

Participants will gain an in-depth insight into the financial management of the Swiss industrial group.

MARGA is an integral part of the program and ensures the practical transfer of the seminar content. In alternation with the theoretical input from the financial experts, the participants manage their virtual company. They are in direct competition with their seminar colleagues.
