The participants of the business simulation MARGA tell the stories by their own, they experience their own business within the simulated company, deal with difficult conflict of targets and struggle for courageous entrepreneurial decisions as a team. The MARGA business simulation makes figures come alive.

If you want to focus on the topic finance and controlling, the participants consider and steer the overall company from the financial point of view. And yet their view is not only concentrated on figures, but also on their practical application and use with regard to corporate decisions.

Starting point is the basic interplay and the instruments of accounting. The participants experience how these instruments can be used as tools in order to systematically follow overall company goals. For this purpose for instance the return target is broken down into the individual company divisions. All decisions are then evaluated as to whether they cover capital costs as well as create or rather destroy company value. By this means the participants experience not only the financial effect of their daily decisions, but additionally also to which extent they are considered and judged by investors.

Especially for bigger companies it is not sufficient to ensure financial competence only at a senior or executive managerial level.
