The business simulation MARGA
The business simulation MARGA conveys the participants how to lead a company as a team. In an environment close to reality they run a virtual company and make their own management decisions. Thereby they compete against other teams. Each business simulation company is measured by performance figures. The target is to create company value.
The business simulation MARGA is used in management trainings to convey management topics and their interrelations. The target groups of the business simulation are young professionals and trainees as well as high potentials, experts and executives.

Formats of the business simulation
The MARGA business simulation is offered in four different formats:
The MARGA Online Competition is training 'on the job', in which teams participate in the business simulation from their place of work via the internet. This means they enter into an exciting competition with other companies. Only the best four teams are invited to the live final at the Schloss Gracht castle.
The MARGA Compact Seminar is an open three days seminar, in which the participants alternate between in-class key speeches and the practical team work in the business simulation.
MARGA Blended Learning is our famous mix of in-class modules with key speeches and virtual team work in the online business simulation.
MARGA Inhouse: Customized and individually tailored programs with the insertion of the business simulation MARGA.
History: MARGA - Pioneers of business management simulations
The business simulation MARGA goes back to the year 1971. The then University Seminar of Economics (Universitätsseminar der Wirtschaft, USW, today: ESMT European School of Management and Technology) was the first service provider to develop the MARGA business management simulation, and implemented it in its management programs. In the same year, together with the Handelsblatt publishing group, the MARGA Open Online Competition was carried out which still takes place every year.
